Our senior partner Thomas & Stephan Hennecke finally retired from the previous management duo with effect from his 70th birthday on March 21.
He announced this at a staff meeting last week. His son Stephan, who was appointed Managing Director in 2016 and has been in sole charge of the operational business since then, will now formally continue the fortunes of Teddington Luftschleieranlagen GmbH as sole Managing Director.
Thomas Hennecke took over the company from insolvency almost 20 years ago and then successfully rebuilt it over many years. His son first joined the company in 2009 as a student trainee and was head of export sales from 2010-2014, for example.
Today, the company is the quantitative and qualitative market leader for air curtain technology in Germany and many other European countries. Thanks to its innovative and energy-saving air curtain systems, Teddington is continuing to grow. In addition, further export markets are currently being developed. Special attention is paid to production quality, which is ensured in the best possible cooperation with the sister company “Hennecke Feinblechtechnik”.
Stephan Hennecke remains committed to this core focus. He is supported by a powerful and experienced team of around 45 employees.
Thomas Hennecke, on the other hand, intends to devote more time to his private interests in future. He truly deserves that! With great respect for his professional successes over the last five decades, we regard them as an obligation to keep Teddington Luftschleieranlagen GmbH on a successful growth course!
We wish him much happiness and the best of health in (un)retirement!
